How to find Rode:
Rode sits by the River Frome on the Somerset / Wiltshire border, 8 miles SE of Bath. An hourly bus service to Bath and Frome is available.

The village is just a mile from the A36 which runs from Bath to the South Coast.

If you are coming from the M5/M4 then leave the M4 at junction 18 and head for Bath along the A46. On entering the city join the A36, Rode is about 20 minutes from Bath. On entering the village of Woolverton on the A36, turn left past the Red Lion Pub, signposted to Rode. Continue for a mile along this road and you will pass the Mill restaurant and cross the River Frome. Barrow Farm is the first turning on the right as you head up Rode Hill.

If approaching from the east along the M4, leave at junction 17 and take the A350 to Chippenham and Melksham. In Melksham take the B3107 to Bradford on Avon and then the B3109 towards Frome. Rode is 4 miles from Bradford. On reaching the crossroads in Rode, turn right. Continue along down Rode Hill. As you approach the bottom of the hill and the road bends round to the right, you will see the entrance to Barrow Farm on your left.

If you are coming from the south up the A36, at the Beckington roundabout, take the 3rd exit to Rode. Continue through the village, passing the church on your right. As you leave the village, turn left to Bradford on Avon. At the next crossroads, turn left again. Continue along down Rode Hill. As you approach the bottom of the hill and the road bends round to the right, you will see the entrance to Barrow Farm on your left.
