Barrow Farm Caravan Site is a family and dog friendly Caravan Club Certified Location (CL) in Rode village, near Frome on the Somerset / Wiltshire border. Bath, Warminster, Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon are close by. Longleat Safari Park, Farleigh Hungerford Castle and Iford Manor are local attractions. Stonehenge, Stourhead, Lacock Abbey & Village & the Fox Talbot Museum, Dyrham Park, Bowood House & Gardens, Corsham Court and Wells Cathedral are all within 45 minutes.
The site is located on our small farm, surrounded by pasture and nestled peacefully by the River Frome, well away from any busy roads. The local area is good for walkers and cyclists with the Macmillan Way and the Wiltshire Cycleway passing through Rode. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead and there are plenty of good dog walks close by.

Rode Village (www.rodevillage.com)
The picturesque village of Rode sits by the River Frome on the Somerset / Wiltshire border, 8 miles SE of Bath. Village amenities include a Post Office and four village pubs within easy walking distance of the caravan site.
An hourly bus service to Bath and Frome is available.
Rode Village Hostelries
The Mill at Rode (www.themillatrode.co.uk) is the nearest pub to the farm. Sitting in a stunning position by the river opposite the farm, it is family friendly, serving good gastro-pub food.
The Cross Keyes (www.crosskeys-butcombe.com) is the “village pub” found in the heart of Rode village, 5 minutes from our farm. Serving good pub food and a nice pint of Butcombe.
The Bell (www.flatcappers.co.uk/thebell) is 10 minutes walk from the farm, serves good food and a range of tasty beers.
The Red Lion (www.redlionwoolverton.co.uk) is in Wolverton, 10 minutes walk across the fields from the farm. It is a Wadworths pub, serving good food and well kept Wadworths Ales.
