The Caravan Site

Our campsiteA newly developed 5-van Certificated Location with electric hook ups and a hardstanding is available for use by Caravan Club members. (Click here to find out more about The Caravan Club's Certificated Locations.)

Visitors to the site will enjoy its peaceful position near the river, local walks on and off the farm, and fishing for those with a rod licence. Children and adults will also love watching the chicken, sheep and ducks. There is also a sandpit for children to play in.

The site is ideally positioned as a base for exploring the historic cities of Bath and Salisbury and the beautiful towns of Bradford on Avon and Wells.

It is also a good stop off point on the way to the south coast ports of Poole, Weymouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Nearby National Trust properties include Stourhead, Lacock and Dyrham Park. Longleat and Bowood House and Gardens are good for family days out.

The Isle of Purbeck and Bournemouth beaches are only 60 miles away.

Walkers will enjoy exploring the Macmillan Way and cyclists can escape along the country lanes of the Wiltshire Cycleway.

The Village

The picturesque village of Rode sits by the River Frome on the Somerset / Wiltshire border, 8 miles SE of Bath.

Village amenities include a Post Office, two village pubs and an excellent Thai restaurant.

An hourly bus service to Bath and Frome is available.
